Bowen and Albanese need to be ‘held to account’ for energy failings

​Shadow Health Minister Anne Ruston says Energy Minister Chris Bowen and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese need to be “held to account” for policy failures. ​“The person who really needs to front the camera alongside Anthony Albanese is Chris Bowen, to explain why he continues to pursue an energy that is causing this kind of thing to have to happen,” Ms Ruston told News24 Chris Kenny. ​“This is the stupidity of the situation we find ourselves in. ​“We’ve got abundant resources in this country in which to generate the energy that this nation needs. "​But because of the belligerence of this government to refuse to look at the whole range of energy sources that could feed into our grid, we’ve seen the taxpayers of Australia having to bail out because of the failure of this government’s policies. ​“The reality is that this is all of the government’s making, and they should be held to account.”
