Bill Shorten declares new VIC Premier the ‘real deal’

University of Canberra Vice-Chancellor Bill Shorten says the new Victoria Premier Ben Carroll has the right attributes to be the leader Victoria needs, exiting the shadow of the previous Dan Andrews and Jacinta Allan leadership. Mr Shorten told News24 “I think he’s honest, I think he has integrity and no one owns him. He’s his own man”. “[People are] craving someone who says it as it is, will choose people over the elites,” he said. “I think he’s the real deal. “They [Victorians] want something different.”
