‘Because she’s a white girl’: WNBA accused of racial hostility toward Caitlin Clark

‘Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered’ host Kinsey Schofield claims the WNBA faces an "image problem" over its treatment of Caitlin Clark, arguing that the hostility directed at the star is racially motivated. “I do think the WNBA has an image problem right now. The league should be asking itself why so many fans feel women and girls aren’t being protected, whether it’s teenage supporters in the stands or Caitlin Clark on the hardwood,” Ms Schofield told News24 host Rita Panahi. “When they’re not protecting young women from verbal abuse in the stands, they’re allowing their biggest star Caitlin Clark to absorb repeated hard fouls and hostility on the court, in my opinion because she’s a white girl. “That’s not a good look for the league.”
