‘Basket case’: UK’s decline exposes global energy warning signs

News24 political contributor Chris Uhlmann says his time in Britain highlighted a growing global focus on energy security. “I was in the UK for a while and what struck me apart from the fact that it’s very much a basket case,” Mr Uhlmann told News24 host Peta Credlin. “Around the world and everywhere in the world, the word on everyone’s lips is energy security. That is the most important thing for governments and for countries.”
