News24 host Peta Credlin reacts to the national debt surpassing $1 trillion and says, “do not get used to numbers like this”. “$1 trillion is a massive amount of money. It’s debt that we have to service by spending billions on interest,” Ms Credlin said. “Before the government can spend money on the essential services that we have a right to expect as taxpayers.”
