‘Arrogant and smug’: Whoopi under fire after bragging about her paycheck

Broadcaster Dee Dee Dunleavy reacts to a clip of The View’s Whoopi Goldberg bragging about her paycheck from the show. “Whether she was joking or not, I think she was intending to, but it came across as arrogant and smug,” Ms Dunleavy told News24 host Rita Panahi. “There’s no disguising the fact that she’s a multi-millionaire and she’s one of the Hollywood elites and yet she’s talking to American people every day who she cannot relate to.”
