Liberal Waverley Councillor Michelle Stephenson warns growing youth anger is becoming increasingly palpable, accusing the Greens of encouraging disenfranchised young people to embrace their anger without understanding the wider consequences. “They should not be saying stuff like this; absolutely should not,” Ms Stephenson told News24 host James Macpherson. "This speaks to a bigger issue, and that’s disenfranchised youth: the youth who feel like no one is listening to them; they’re getting angry and that anger is palpable. “Then you’ve got people like the Greens who agitate and tell them you’ve got a right to be mad. “They don’t understand that there’s a bigger picture at play here."
