Albanese reiterates AI to be rolled out with ‘Australian values’

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reiterates that AI should be rolled out “the Australian way” with “Australia’s national interest” at heart. “Companies working together with governments to identify and address AI risks immediately rather than when it is too late,” Mr Albanese said during Question Time on Tuesday. “Our national security community already works closely with frontier AI companies. “Safety and security is a key to building trust.”
