‘Absolutely insane’: Fauci was highest-paid US federal government employee

​Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer says it’s “absolutely insane” that Anthony Fauci was the highest-paid US federal government employee in his final years in public service. ​“He was banking almost $500,000 a year on the US federal taxpayer dollar,” Mr Hammer told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “It’s like double what the president makes. ​“It’s laughable, it's absolutely insane.”
