Abbott weighs in the possibility of ‘Dr Jihad’ being sent back to Australia

Former prime minister Tony Abbott says “there is no way” Australia should be “expected to take back someone” who looks to be a “hardened terrorist”. “If he’s committed crimes in Iraq, as almost certainly he has, he should be punished in Iraq,” Mr Abbott told News24 host Peta Credlin. “There’s no way on God's green earth that we should be expected to take back someone who looks very much to be a hardened terrorist.”
