Long the NASDAQ 100 | Trade of the week

IG Group2 days ago1:57

This week, we're going long the NASDAQ 100, as US tech stocks look to recover after a sharp two-week selloff from record highs above 31,000 down to around 29,000. With Q4 seasonality and a strong earnings season expected to provide support, the target is above the record high at 31,000 and potentially on towards 31,500. Stop is set at 29,000, a key support level from August and September. Last week's short Brent crude is still active with the wider stop above $110.80 intact, though oil has continued to move higher on ongoing Middle East tensions. The trade remains within risk management parameters for now. 👉 In this video: ✅ Why we're going long the NASDAQ 100 ✅ Q4 seasonality and earnings season as catalysts ✅ Update on the Brent crude short #Trading #NASDAQ #NASDAQ100 #TechnicalAnalysis #Markets #TradeOfTheWeek Trade of the Week Playlist: ►https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiuPElZAFyTJFfLuMPPt1SvCt8gJEpNs7 📈 Catch more market commentary and insights on our channel. 🔔 Subscribe ► https://www.youtube.com/@iguk_official?sub_confirmation=1 Find out more: https://www.ig.com/uk/ways-to-trade?region=uk&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_source=youtube&utm_campaign=description&product=trading&utm_marketing_tactic=consideration&utm_creative_format=text_link&utm_content=yt_description&audience=na Your capital is at risk. 70% of retail investors lose money when trading CFDs with this provider.
