Give Claude Real Trading Data in 1 Minute (MCP Setup) | edgeful

Your AI analysis is only as good as the data you give it. In this video I connect Claude to real futures trading data through the edgeful MCP in about a minute, then ask it an NQ initial balance question and get the answer straight from the edgeful data. Setup is all in the Claude app: settings, connectors, add custom connector, name it edgeful, paste the server URL from the API dashboard and connect. You might get a sign-in pop-up, just log in with your edgeful account. Then set the tools to always allow. There are no write tools, the connector only reads data, so there's no reason to have it ask for approval every time it uses it. Then I dictated one question: on NQ over the last 2 years, how often has price only broken the initial balance high on Wednesdays? Claude pulled the data and answered in less than a minute. 43 out of 103 Wednesdays broke only the IB high, 42% of the time, and no IB break at all happened less than 4% of the time. That's the point. You don't have to load a report or memorize which report answers what. You ask the question, you get the answer, and you can layer the edgeful data into whatever morning routine or analysis you already run with AI. The API dashboard also has setup videos for ChatGPT and Grok Bot, plus Claude Code, Codex and Cursor if you work with coding agents. chapters: 0:00 garbage in, garbage out: why your AI needs real data 0:20 the API dashboard: chat apps vs coding agents 0:47 adding the edgeful connector in claude 1:19 sign in + set tools to always allow 1:50 asking claude an NQ initial balance question 2:33 the answer: 42% IB high only on wednesdays 2:52 ask questions, skip memorizing reports have questions? email [email protected] get started: https://www.edgeful.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=2026 Disclosure: Trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor.
