Trump says US will henceforth call AI 'super intelligence'

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday (Sep 22) said that government documents will now use "super intelligence" instead of artificial intelligence. "The use of the word 'artificial' makes intelligence fake. It makes it sound fake and it is not fake. It's actually amazing," he said in a United Nations General Assembly speech on Tuesday (Sep 22). Trump also repeated his previous calls about AI warnings being a hoax. "The very same people who said we'll all be dead in 12 years because of global warming ... and nobody was dead," he said.
