Torrential rain in Thailand’s north triggers landslides, severe flooding

Persistent downpours in Thailand's northern Mae Hong Son province have caused several landslides and flooding in various districts. On one highway, over 100 vehicles were stranded as fallen debris and power poles obstructed traffic on Aug 21.
