The Singapore government plans to ask social media platforms to do more to protect children and youths from excessive use and online harms, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced at the National Day Rally on Sunday (Aug 23). In a live Talking Point special on Monday, Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo was asked what the government is planning to get social media giants to do.
