“Singapore is like the durian. You can squeeze us, but you will feel the pain too.” Speaking at the DBS Asia Future Forward Conference on Monday (Oct 12), Prime Minister Lawrence Wong used an analogy to explain how Singapore can stand its ground amid the growing weaponisation of trade.
