PAP Conference: Government to build a better Singapore with all Singaporeans, says PM Wong

People's Action Party (PAP) chief Lawrence Wong has laid out the broad agenda for this term of government. Speaking to about 3,000 party activists at the PAP Conference, Mr Wong, who is also the Prime Minister, called for efforts to build a better Singapore with all of society. He assured Singaporeans that economic growth will translate to better lives for all. PM Wong also said the PAP must have the courage to make tough calls, even when they may not be popular. From energy security to housing and manpower - he says the party must look ahead and act early, not just for Singaporeans today, but for generations who come after.
