Malaysian Transport Minister, Anthony Loke is stepping down as his party - the DAP's chairman of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. It follows the loss of two seats - including his own, in the recent state elections over the weekend. He will, however, keep his position as secretary-general of the Democratic Action Party. The DAP is facing another crucial test on 16 August at a special congress. That’s when members will decide if DAP ministers should continue serving in Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's cabinet.
