Haze in Singapore: Malls block sliding doors; close outdoor spaces, windows

Shopping malls are keeping some entrances and windows shut and closing outdoor facilities in a bid to keep out the haze. Indoor air quality checks are also being stepped up as experts report worsening conditions in buildings. They say particulate matter (PM) levels are up five times the baseline level when there is little or no haze.
