Family seeks info on man who shoved elderly father at coffee shop

The family of an elderly man who was shoved onto the floor of a coffee shop is appealing for information on the man who pushed him to the ground. The shoving apparently happened after the elderly man, in his 70s, was seen patting a little girl's head as he walked by her table. CCTV footage of the incident was posted on the Facebook and Instagram accounts of Bei-Ing Wanton Noodle, a stall at Roxy Square mall along East Road Road on Saturday evening (Aug 15). The business operates another stall  in a coffee shop near Telok Kurau Road. The post said: "Afterwards, the man sat down with my father, apologised and offered him a drink. While we appreciate that he eventually apologised, my father is now suffering from severe back pain following the incident. A drink and an apology cannot simply take away the physical pain or injuries he is experiencing."
