Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has been granted a conditional pardon by Malaysia’s King, allowing him to serve the rest of his jail term at home if he pays a RM50 million (US$12.26 million) fine. The legal affairs division of the Prime Minister’s Office announced the decision on Friday (Sep 18). Najib, who is in Kajang Prison, is due to complete his sentence on Aug 23, 2028.
