Eligibility for caregiver support expanded for people with autism, intellectual disabilities

People with intellectual disabilities or autism will be able to qualify for more financial support from next year. Eligibility criteria for four support schemes will be broadened to better recognise care needs that may not be captured by current assessments. It's part of enhanced efforts to help caregivers, which include eight Caregiver Support Touchpoints set up across Singapore and CarersHub, a one-stop online platform that offers peer support and a marketplace for caregiving equipment.
