Durian growers in Malaysia struggle to keep up with climate change

Durian growers across Southeast Asia are facing a common enemy — climate change. In Malaysia, soaring temperatures mean more watering, more fertiliser and more pruning, all while fuel and fertiliser costs have climbed due to the war in Iran. Some farmers are turning to technology to adapt, such as installing sensors to monitor rainfall, humidity, soil conditions and temperature.
