Duration halved for US-South Korea drills after Trump ordered reduction

The US and South Korea are cutting short their annual joint drills at the request of the US president. The Ulchi Freedom Shield exercise began on Aug 17 and will now end on Aug 21, five days shorter than the planned 11 days.
