Will Murray, a journalist with Australian public broadcaster ABC, was reporting on flooding north of Brisbane on Thursday (Oct 22) when a man drove his four-wheel drive into floodwaters. The vehicle stalled and began to sink. Murray and another man, Daniel Hainey, swam out to rescue the driver, pulling him to safety moments before the vehicle was completely submerged. “All three of us gave each other a big hug and were just so relieved,” Murray told ABC.
