We Talk: Belarusians on SCO ties and the Chinese friends they've made

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with the annual summit set to take place soon in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Belarus is one of the SCO member states. A CGTN stringer took to the streets of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, to ask locals how the organization has touched their daily lives. Anastasia, who works in electric transport, said she got a taste of authentic Chinese culture at university thanks to her classmates and teachers from China. Others noted how easy it is to access information about China online, and to visit the country. Overall, locals agree that bonds between the two countries have deepened, thanks to people getting to know each other.
