At just 14, Wang Quanying, a Tibetan girl, joined the Red Army during the Long March in 1935. Born Gui Xiang, she later changed her name to Wang Quanying to honor her fallen comrades. Her new name carried the meaning that all Red Army soldiers were heroes. After becoming separated from her unit, she settled in Sichuan Province, southwest China, and lived quietly for decades before her identity was confirmed in 1984. Wang passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 105. This interview is her last known recorded footage. Her story is a lasting testament to the courage, sacrifice and resilience of those who endured the Long March. #longmarch90 #longmarch #redarmy #china 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg 👈 Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cctvnews-app/id922456579?l=zh&ls=1&mt=8 Download our APP on Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imib.cctv For more: https://news.cgtn.com/news/2026-10-22/The-last-known-footage-of-Wang-Quanying-a-female-Red-Army-veteran-of-the-Long-March-1RrY0rBOrPq/p.html Most watched videos: Impossible Challenge: 30 seconds to count banknotes BLINDFOLDED https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmP_Ybj-jws Impossible Challenge: Gymnastics Boy Arat Hosseini from Iran! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sxX--U4c8w Impossible Challenge: How to calm babies in 5 seconds? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR3q9sXM7WA
