Over 1,000 demoiselle cranes flock to Xinjiang reservoir #coolchina

More than 1,000 demoiselle cranes were spotted this week at Dongfeng Reservoir in Qinghe County of Altay, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The smallest crane species, demoiselle cranes, are under second-class national protection in China.
