In Yudu, Jiangxi Province, retired PLA Senior Colonel Ge Jiangyang tells CGTN's Tian Wei about his father, Ge Jietiao. A Red Army soldier in 1934, Ge Jietiao was wounded and could no longer carry a rifle, but chose to stay with his comrades, using a hand-cranked sewing machine to mend their uniforms. Ge Jiangyang says his father's determination to keep moving forward is part of the legacy he passed down. More than 90 years later, the family craft continues in Yudu, now with intelligent manufacturing.
