Kyrgyz communities gain from mining infrastructure cooperation

Henry Kuvin, a New York-based journalist and photographer who has spent several years working across Central Asia, shares his observations on China's expanding commercial engagement in Kyrgyzstan. Kuvin says Chinese mining companies have helped reactivate several long-idle mines, while also bringing investment in road and power infrastructure.
