Kosovo's acting PM egged in parliament #worldnow

An opposition lawmaker threw eggs at Kosovo's acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti in parliament on Saturday after he asked for more time to negotiate political arrangements before nominating a candidate for parliamentary speaker. The dispute came after Kosovo's June snap election, which left parties divided and delayed the formation of a new government. Under the process, parliament must first elect a speaker before moving forward with forming a government. Kurti had been holding talks with opposition parties over broader political arrangements, including the selection of a new president, and sought to postpone the parliamentary vote on the speaker position until more discussions were held.
