'Japanese politics heading in a dangerous direction,' says Japanese lawyer Keiichiro Ichinose

For more than three decades, Japanese lawyer Keiichiro Ichinose has represented Chinese victims of Japan's wartime bacterial warfare in legal actions against the Japanese government. In an exclusive interview with CGTN during his recent trip to China, Ichinose said Japan has failed to fully confront its wartime history and is instead expanding its military capabilities and deepening military cooperation with the United States.
