How AI's shaping civilization, human development

Home to the terracotta warriors and ancient gardens, Xi'an – the capital of a dozen Chinese dynasties – recently hosted the convening of a global dialogue on how artificial intelligence is reshaping human civilization and human development. Organized by the United Nations in collaboration with China, the event gathered global thought leaders, policymakers, technologists, academics and cultural leaders. On the sidelines, CGTN's Tian Wei spoke with Gong Ke, the executive director of the Chinese Institute for the New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Strategies who's also the chairman of Nankai University's Academic Committee, and Zeng Yi, the Wu Yu-Zhang Chair Professor of the Gaoling School of AI of the Renmin University of China.
