The “Grand Yuyuan Music and Heritage Festival” brings together traditional Chinese opera genres, including Kunqu, Peking Opera, Huangmei Opera, and Sichuan Opera – plus modern music. Traditional customs like “strolling under the moon” and “moon worship” ceremonies are back in full swing in the alleys, offering a truly immersive Mid-Autumn experience. The festival also teams up with the Bund Finance Center to create an outdoor East-meets-West music venue on its terrace, along with exhibitions, markets, handicraft workshops, and other events.
