Elon Musk: China will solve chip constraints in 2-3 years

Chinese AI models are generally outstanding, Elon Musk said during an interview with China Media Group (CMG) on Wednesday. He noted that despite limited compute, Chinese AI companies are topping intelligence rankings. He called their performance per unit of compute "by far the best."
