Rescue and engineering crews worked in three shifts on Sunday to reopen the section of the G216 national highway leading to Gyirong Port in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region that was damaged by a mudslide on the China-Nepal border. Between 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m., crews widened more than 230 meters of road and removed over 9,000 cubic meters of mudslide debris. Work continued through the night, advancing about 30 meters by 7 a.m. on Monday and reaching a gully where flowing water, deep deposits and a washed-out roadbed are complicating operations. Large rocks are being transported to the site to reinforce the roadbed as excavators, loaders and trucks continue advancing toward the border gate. πŸ“Ί Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:πŸ‘‡ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg πŸ‘ˆ Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cctvnews-app/id922456579?l=zh&ls=1&mt=8 Download our APP on Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imib.cctv For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video Most watched videos: Impossible Challenge: 30 seconds to count banknotes BLINDFOLDED https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmP_Ybj-jws Impossible Challenge: Gymnastics Boy Arat Hosseini from Iran! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sxX--U4c8w Impossible Challenge: How to calm babies in 5 seconds? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR3q9sXM7WA
