A community officer repeatedly dived underwater to clear a drain by hand as Typhoon Dolphin brought torrential rain to Hangzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province on August 9. He restored flow in just 15 minutes, clearing the outlet at a meter-deep pond of branches, mud and weeds.
