China marks 81st anniversary of Taiwan restoration and warns against Japanese militarism

A symposium was held in Fuzhou, east China's Fujian Province, on Sunday to mark the 81st anniversary of Taiwan's restoration from Japanese colonial rule. Participants from both sides of the Taiwan Strait called for remembering history, honoring martyrs and remaining vigilant against the resurgence of Japanese militarism, while promoting cross-Strait exchanges and national unity.
