China launches new remote sensing satellite group #coolchina

China launched a new batch of remote sensing satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi on Thursday. The Yaogan-40 04 group lifted off at 4:46 p.m. Beijing Time aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket, and entered their planned orbits. They'll carry out electromagnetic environment detection and technical tests.
