Special Olympics Illinois Bell Ringing

Special Olympics Illinois rang this morning’s opening bell. 🔔 Every August, @SpecialOlympicsIllinois hosts the Chicago Ducky Derby, where thousands of rubber ducks splashdown into the Chicago River to raise critical funds that support year-round sports training and competition, as well as health and leadership programs for people with intellectual disabilities. Through these programs, they build a more inclusive world alongside these athletes, creating opportunities for connection, growth, and lasting impact across the state. This year’s Chicago Duck Derby will be on August 6 at the Columbus Drive Bridge.
