The attacks come ahead of major conferences, while the US State Department urges extreme caution when using Saudi airports as fears of a wider conflict grow. Stock and bond futures advance as oil declines after Donald Trump claims a Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire is in effect. The Nasdaq records a fourth consecutive weekly gain as AI bubble concerns ease. Investors await September US inflation figures, with higher fuel prices expected to lift headline inflation and markets anticipating a 25-basis-point Fed rate increase in December.
