Iran-Oman Deal to Open Strait of Hormuz Is in Final Stages

An Iran-Oman deal to partially reopen the Strait of Hormuz is in the final stages, with an understanding in principle reached on almost all issues, including maritime traffic entry and exit routes. Bloomberg News Reporter Dan Williams discusses the latest developments from conflict in the Middle East. Any deal for the Strait of Hormuz would have to be approved by Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has been in hiding since being injured in the initial attacks of the war by the US and Israel, in February.
