Andy Burnham has set out his vision for the country should he become prime minister. It included setting up a "No10 North" in Manchester and delivering the biggest programme of council house building in the post-war period, but because of his strange route to the doorstep of power we don't actually know much about how it might work. Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram is a friend of the new Makerfield MP and also co-wrote his book, 'Head North: A Rallying Cry for a More Equal Britain', the closest thing we have to a Burnham manifesto. Radio 4's Sarah Montague talks to him to find out what a potential Burnham government might look like. Listen to the World At One and PM on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
