US wildfires: Hawk Fire forces mass evacuation in Reno, Nevada

A fast-growing wildfire in Nevada has forced about 90,000 people to evacuate from Reno as firefighters battle the human-caused blaze. The Hawk Fire has scorched nearly 11,000 acres, destroying homes and vehicles and leaving about 5,000 people without power. More than 800 firefighters are tackling the fire, supported by aircraft dropping water on the flames. Emergency shelters have opened across Reno, while a state of emergency has been declared in Washoe County.
