The US Department of Energy has authorised an emergency exchange of up to 4 million barrels of crude oil from its reserves, saying Hurricane Isaias has disrupted supply. Isaias, the first hurricane of the Atlantic season, reached Category 3 with winds of up to 208km/h. It weakened to a post-tropical cyclone after making landfall near Destin on Saturday. At least four people have died, and tens of thousands across several states, including Georgia and Florida, are still without power. Flooding and strong winds remain a risk. The Florida National Guard has been deployed to rescue and clear roads. President Donald Trump has issued an emergency declaration for Georgia.
