Trump's 'warm welcome' to Xi masks troubled US-China relations, analyst says

Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in the United States for his first state visit there in 11 years. Xi will be holding high-stakes talks with Donald Trump during his three-day visit. Trump greeted Xi at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland with great fanfare, including a battery gun salute and a flyover by the US air force. Xi and Trump are expected to discuss trade, critical minerals and supply chains. Technology and Iran are also expected to feature in the talks.
