Southern Lebanese towns near Beaufort Castle hit by Israeli strikes
Al Jazeera EnglishIsraeli forces struck near Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon. The military said it used 700 tonnes of explosives to destroy parts of a Hezbollah tunnel network. Israel agreed in June to a phased withdrawal from Lebanon, and have the Lebanese military handle disarming Hezbollah.
