North Korea rejects DMZ landmine findings as tensions with South Korea rise

Tensions are rising along the Korean peninsula's heavily fortified border after three South Korean soldiers were injured by suspected North Korean landmines last week. Seoul and the UN Command, which oversees the demilitarized zone, say both blasts were caused by mines planted by Pyongyang, a claim North Korea denies. Kim Yo Jong has dismissed the findings as a "conspiratorial farce" and warned of retaliation should South Korean forces fire on North Korean troops carrying out fortification work.
