The death toll from catastrophic flooding in Nepal and China has reached 1,019, and more than 4,400 people remain missing as rescue crews work to reach communities cut off by the disaster. Getting a clear picture of the damage on the Chinese side of the border remains difficult. That's because access to Tibet is tightly restricted for foreign journalists.
