Israel’s foreign minister calls Miliband’s settlement remarks ‘scandalous’

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has criticised the UK’s move to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements. Saar said the move amounts to “interference” in Israel’s upcoming elections. He also slammed remarks by British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on illegal Israeli settlements and settler violence as “scandalous” and false. As we reported earlier, Miliband condemned the “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank by “settler terrorists”.
